โœ… Preliminary Examination (Screening Test)
  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (Objective Type)

  • Total Marks: 100

  • Duration: 2 Hours

  • Subjects:

    • Code of Civil Procedure, Indian Contract Act, Torts, Transfer of Property Act, Evidence Act, Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, etc.

  • Mode: Descriptive (Offline)

  • Papers (Each for 3 Hours, 100 Marks):

    • Civil Laws

    • Criminal Laws

    • English Translation & Essay Writing

      • Translation (25 Marks)

      • Essay Writing (75 Marks)

โœ… Interview / Viva-Voce
  • Marks: 50

  • Focus: Legal acumen, communication skills, ethical integrity, and personality.


๐ŸŽ“ Qualification & Age
Direct Recruitment:
  • Must possess a Law degree from a recognized university established by law in India.

  • Must have passed the degree not earlier than three years from the date of notification.

  • Age Limit: Must not exceed 35 years (as on cut-off date in notification).

Recruitment by Transfer:
  • Should be a Law Graduate with at least 3 years of practice as an Advocate or serving in judicial/legal services in Andhra Pradesh.

  • Age Limit: Up to 48 years.


๐Ÿ—ฃ Language of Exam
  • The exam is conducted in English.

  • Candidates must be proficient in Telugu (regional language proficiency is essential for selection).


โœ… Eligibility Criteria
  • Indian Citizen with a sound mind and moral character.

  • No history of criminal convictions.

  • Must satisfy physical and medical fitness as required.

  • Must not have been debarred by any recruiting agency.
