  • Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions

  • Total Marks: 100

  • Duration: 2 Hours

    • Code of Civil Procedure

    • Code of Criminal Procedure

    • Indian Penal Code

    • Indian Contract Act

    • Transfer of Property Act

    • Law of Torts

    • Hindi (15 marks)

  • Purpose: Qualifying only; marks not added to the final merit

  • Law Paper I (Civil Law): 100 marks

  • Law Paper II (Criminal Law): 100 marks

  • Hindi Essay Paper: 50 marks

  • English Essay Paper: 50 marks

  • Duration: 3 hours each for law papers; 2 hours for language papers

  • Total Marks: 300

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:

    • General: 40% aggregate; 35% in each law paper

    • Reserved: 35% aggregate; 30% in each law paper

  • Eligibility: Only candidates who qualify Mains with required cut-off
